By lasercutting oak veneer, I made a sculptural daybed, wich is also hollow. In this atypical way of woodworking I create objects without any waste of wood.

Stratum Tempus is a collection that builds on the possibilities of the technique I used in Stratum Quercus, the bespoke chaise longue.
By lasercutting sheet material, sush as veneer, acrylic or even steel in small layers and assamble them again, I obtain organically shaped objects with less material and even less waste. By asembling them by hand none of them will be the same.
The objects are spiral-shaped which provides a dynamic experience within space.
Each piece, different in size and color is limited to a maximum of 100 pieces and so also numbered.
The acrylic edition is waterproof.
Designed for Movecho.
